This small shop located in Causeway Bay. I have been attracted by their light box and the Japanese slide door.

 

Inside is not very that big but comfortable. You will be surprised by the huge bowl of sesame on the table. (What's that for?) Not much choices on their menu but as we always said we looking for the quality more than the quantity.

 

I have ordered their signature ramen – Hiroshima Noodle and my friend ordered Hiroshima Noodle with Japanese Pepper. While we are waiting for the food, we spent some time to take a look on their interior design. They have some hand painting of their food and Japan iconic building etc. Simple and attractive.

 

They served a soup and noodle separately, they taught us to add the sesame as much as we like to the noodle. Then drag some noodle into the soup and make soup the sesame have stick with the noodle. For me I am a sesame lover, I add a lot to my soup. It’s really very tasty and good. You can smell the scent of the sesame from inside out. I think altogether were a perfect match.

 

They have different level of hot and spicy. You can try and challenge the 100 level. Then they will give you a little wood board for you to sign and keep the record in the shop.

Monsters University in Hong Kong

The Monsters are back

 

 

 

The Monsters University will exclusively open in Hong Kong. Sorry!! Not in the Hong Kong Disneyland. It's will be built in Time Square, Causeway Bay from 21/6 -16/7. You will see the 1:1 figure, so please be readied for the lesson of how to scare and also your scary poses. You will also see some of the films, design graphic etc. Last but not least, there are 20 different of Mike designs by 20 designers from worldwide.

 


The long waiting movie <Monsters University> will be shown in US on 21/6. For Hong Kong, it will be shown in cinema on 11/7. Since the <Monsters Inc.>, I think all the fans of Sulley, Mike, Boo etc. have waited for such a long long time. I’ve been waiting for 12 years.

 

The <Monsters University> is talking about how the monsters learning to scare human. From Sulley and Mike hate each other to be best buddy in the monster world. There are millions of laughs. It’s the episode of the <Monsters Inc.> so we wouldn’t see Boo in the movie( sad:'( ). Ready your 3D glasses and watch them in Cinema on 11/7.

A Tiny Beauty around Cinema circle

 

As mine was blur so I take this from their website.

Taipei Hotel B6 located at the cinema circle in Ximen area. You can easy to move around for shopping, eating etc. or watch a new movie. It’s not difficult to find the hotel coz the hotel didn’t hide in some hidden streets and if you are well known of the Ximending area. It’s just about 10 minutes’ walk from the Ximen Station (Exit 6).

 

It’s a kind of traditional Taiwan style boutique hotel. They have a small hotel at the G/F but they are really smart that they share part of the G/F to a Dim Sum bar to enhance the hotel F&B featuring.

 

Total 42 guest rooms with 4 different types of rooms; from Standard Double Room to Premium Quad Room. So if you are travel in a group of four, you can choose their Quad Room. (Just a Reminder, the Quad room has 2 double beds only).

 

This time, I stay at their Standard Double Room. The room is tiny but cozy. I have no complaint at all. It’s clean and still well maintain. (May be its still new). The WiFi internet is good and high-speed. With a filled mini bar for free. All amenities are next to the sink, you no need to call the Front Desk for requesting anything except you want some more. Shower is good, not bad water pressure. Shower gel and shampoo are in the wall mounted case. Bed and pillow are comfort, soft and I fall asleep easily.

 

The breakfast is served at the basement. Quite a lot of choices, from Chinese congee to western cereal, hot dishes. Look like a lunch buffet more than breakfast. It can give you a fresh morning start or a fully start. I don’t mention too much here, you can visit our Facebook fan page for the photo album.

 

Overall the hotel provides everything I need. The rates is good, quite value for money. If they still have good deal in the future, I am sure I will stay there again. Nice location at Ximending, Free WiFi, comfort and clean environment.

What's worth for a Woman?

Few days ago, Angelina Jolie posted an article regarding she have a preventive double mastectomy. She is an actress and director. A mother of 8 kids.

She may be the first woman that have courage to have such surgery. In one of her famous movie <Lara Croft - Tomb Raider> she is the lady that never fear to the dangerous and never give up when facing any challenge. Just like he in the real life, she will try her very best to protect her children.

 

This is the real love from a mother and she would like to remind every woman to stay away from the breast cancer. 

Do you dare to give up something that important to a woman?

So always remember that your mum brought you to life and give you the best that she can. Sometime you may thought she is very annoying and control everything of you but what she did, is just don't want to see you fail.

 

I love her brave and giving. She is forever role model of it all, A real Legend.

This is not new actually. It's already been sold in Cheung Chau for few years in Hong Kong. Or you may find it in India. Every year it will be serve for 3 days during the Bun Festival in Cheung Chau exclusively and they won't serve any meat.
 
It's called 'McVeggie'; A vegetarian food in McDonald. Batter & breaded patty made of green peas, carrots, green beans, onions, potatoes, rice and spices, with eggless mayonnaise and lettuce, served in a sesame toasted bun. Kindly refer to below table if you want to know the daily value of McVeggie;

You can see the different from the original photo. Not really tasty. The major problem eventually is the lettuce not fresh at all. Not matter which burgers at McDonald.

Few more days later, G-Dragon will have his very first solo concert in Hong Kong; [G-Dragon 2013 World Tour : One of a Kind] . (Dont' tell me you don't know who is he?) As the leader of the world known famous K Pop Male group - BigBang. G Dragon is the first one to have his own solo concert in Hong Kong and other countries. Wait a minutes, I am not promoting his solo concert. I would like to talk about his style & fashion sense.

Described as the most fashionable in his group with his own style. He have awarded as "Style Icon of 2008" and award for "Most Influential Men of 2008" by Arena Magazine. He is always on the top and extraordinary. Never follow other people footsteps.

Precious Unique Pearl - Indigo Pearl

“The Pearl that not Pure White”

Indigo Pearl mean a type of pearl which is not in white but with silver blue color. A kind of mystery and precious. It's unique and not easy to find it.

Indigo Pearl located at the North of Phuket city, I can say it’s very good that really closed to the airport, just only 5 minutes ride but on the other sides, it very far from the town, Patong beach and Phuket Town etc.

Due to my flight, I arrived at the resort at around 5pm (Sunset period). It was amazing and I feel like I fail into a metal jungle, it's so raw and industrial chic. Everywhere are rusted… (Wait!! This is their theme, I am not complaining). 

Hundred years ago, tin was discovered in the central of Phuket. In early 90's, Phuket was a successful tin mining centre. Nowadays, there still have 3 tin mining sites still active in Phuket.

At the Front Desk, they serve a sweet & sour tea as a welcome drink with a cold wet towel, I think it’s quite similar to our Chinese one, taste good and refreshing after few hours flight. This is simple but impressive. Front Desk are professional. They can answer all my questions about the resort and the city. (Good! Well Trained staffs) My check-in is smooth and they arranged a golf kart to take me to my room.

 

This resort is huge. You would be easy to get lost if you don’t have a map with you. They have many different types of rooms and villas, an award winning spa, at least 4 F&B outlets, 3 swimming pools, please note there are only one pool allow kids to swim because they serve alcoholic drink in other 2 pools.

Coqoon Spa - With the one  and only treatment room called The Nest. As mentioned it is an award winning spa. You feel like you have been kidnapped in a wild jungle and don't know where they trapped you. From the outside, you will see 2 huge bird nests hanging on the coconut trees. If you want some extra more or you are a Spa lover. Then, I suggest you can book the Coqoon Suite. They have a own private pool, treatment area, bedroom, stream room and the one & only "Vichy" shower in Phuket. You can enjoy a relaxing private moment.

Besides of this Coqoon Suite, they have many different room types for your selection. You can refer to our facebook fan page for the rooms detail. (Sorry that their Private Pool Villas are not available for me to take photos)
Featuring a gym and provide many different type of activities, you won't feel bored even no shopping and sightseeing. Yoga, bicycle, Thai boxing, eco tour, cooking class, water sport etc. Should have one activity match your style.

Overall, I like the resort because of their theme and own character. Unique and well themed. It's look beautiful. Raw beauty. However, some of their staff have to improve their service standard, especially they have to know how to be nice to every single guest.(Right! I have bad experience because I don't feel the staff respect me. I have to say I didn't give her any hard time.) Besides they have to pay more attention on every detail of the room, make sure nothing was missing.

You will find a lot of 'UP' & "DOWN" arrow in the resort, do you know what does it mean?

Love Rain or Hate Rain?

 

As a fashionista, I am sure that you won't like raining. or may be you hate it so much.
